We are thrilled to welcome the 2025 class into the Maven Analytics Hall of Fame!

Before we get into the nominations, a big thank you to everyone in the data community who submitted a nomination to help us select this group.

This year's group of nominees was tough to vote on, because of the strength of the overall field. But in the end, four of the nominees really stood out.

Everyone who was nominated should feel a sense of pride. You are an impressive group of people, and we are glad to have you in the data community.

Before we introduce our inductees, let's have a quick reminder about the qualities that earned these individuals their spots.

This new class represents the characteristics that we most value in our students and in the broader data community.

1) Maven Hall of Famers are committed to lifelong learning.

2) They actively participate in the Maven community and broader data community.

3) They consistently support and encourage others in the Maven community.

4) They bring a positive energy to their learning and their work.

To sum it up, these are the people that make being a part of Maven such an enjoyable experience for instructors, and for the entire data community.

There was more than just glory on the line. Each of the folks being honored today will receive the exclusive Hall of Fame badge, and have also been given free lifetime access to the entire Maven library of courses.

Now, let's introduce the Hall of Fame Class of 2025!

Yovani Pillay

Our Open Campus 2025 MVP (and 2024’s Learning Legend!) Yovani Pillay has been very present in the data community for more than the past year: sharing her own experiences on her learning journey on LinkedIn, as well as on Reddit and Medium. 

Yovani is always ready to support others in their learning journey, and she’s always ready to ask the good questions of the experts for any Mavens of Data interview. It's hard to think of anyone more worthy of this honor. 

We are proud to induct Yovani into the 2025 Hall of Fame Class.

Sonali Kumar

When reviewing possible nominees for the new Hall of Famers, we were shocked that we had missed Sonali Kumar in previous years!

A long-time Maven student and super fan, Sonali has taken her dedication to the data community to the next level by helping to teach others the skills she’s grown in herself. She’s even worked with us here at Maven for some of our educational webinars and helped during one of our asynchronous cohort learning classes!

Bob Sorg

Bob Sorg is one of those people who shows up in ways that genuinely make the community better. 

He’s a familiar face at our Mavens of Data live shows, consistently attending, staying engaged, and actively participating in the conversation. It has became clear that Bob isn’t just tuning in; he’s listening closely and thinking deeply about what’s being discussed.

We are proud to induct Bob into the 2025 Maven Analytics Hall of Fame.

Christy Ehlert-Mackie

Speaking of standout Maven community members, we couldn’t miss this opportunity to recognize Christy Ehlert-Mackie!

From her presence on LinkedIn where she shares her own learning journey and supports her peers, to regular Maven data challenge participation, to sharing her voice in the chat and Q&A of our live events, Christy is constantly visible in the community, adding value and motivating herself and others.

We are proud to induct Christy into the 2025 Maven Analytics Hall of Fame.
