KPIs & Regional Analysis Dashboard to Understand Business Performance

This tableau dashboard project provides a key-insights of the fictitious superstore.

The goal of this project is to build a KPI dashboard for the executive team to understand the business performance in areas such as:

• Sales Trends
• Profit Trends
• Regional Analysis
• Products Analysis

With this interactive dashboard, we were able to answer the key questions to drive business growth and take data-driven business decisions. Some questions involved:

1. What are the key metrics of sales & profit ratio by state?
2. How regions profit vary over time and comparison between the regions?
3. What are the metrics of sales vs profit by product-subcategory?
4. Which months are more profitable than others?

Let me give you the overview of the dashboard and how to interact with it:

On the top-left of the dashboard, month filter is given to select the month. Come down to that and you will see monthly profit chart region-wise. Next to that, there is monthly profit by region where you can see all the stats. Hover over to any of them, which provides you the regional analysis next to that where you can analyze sales & profit ratio by state. Below that, you will find sales vs profit by product sub-category.

Hover over to any chart to see the tooltip where you can get all the important metrics like state, profit-ratio, sales, etc.
