About this project

Goals-

Acted as a HR data analyst to develop a HR Dashboard for an organization by understanding their requirements.

Business Needs-

  • How many active employees are there?
  • What is the attrition and retention rate every year?
  • How many employees are loyal for their company?
  • What is the age bands of the employees working in company?
  • Which department had the most/fewest new hires each year?
  • What is the yearly average salary the organization paid to each department?
  • What is the martial status distributed each hire year?
  • How about the employee retention rate each year? What is the main leave reason?

Insights-

The company has total 694 employees, out of which 592 employees (85.30%) are still working with the company (active) while 102 employees (14.70%) are those who resigned the company or terminated by the HR.

Gender ratio of active employee in the company male to female are 342:250.

Lima branch has maximum hiring (112), followed by bueno aires (109) and montevideo has minimum hiring (98).

Production department has maximum attrition rate (78.4%) and z managewment department has minimum attrition rate (0.98%).

Most of the employees were hired in year 2019, followed by year 2017 and 2014 and least employees hired in year 2015.

Employee main reason for leaving is performance issues (36%), followed by higher salary expectations (25%).

60 years and above age group employees (229) has maximum working engagement in the company followed by 30-40 age group employee (165).

Z management department has minimum job satisfaction rating given by the employees whereas the employees working in the production department has maximum job satisfaction rating followed by IT/IS department

Production department has always paid highest annual salary to their employees amongst the given job titles.

Average employee age of working in the company are 50.94.
