The Project

Often owners and managers don’t feel that they have proper methods to verify their employee’s work. This was the problem this construction company was having. The estimators all had their own spreadsheets and many of them were quite hard to understand. When it came time to review each of their estimations, it was a long, grueling task that nobody enjoyed. This was because the owner did not have an efficient and automated way to verify the multimillion-dollar estimations. This dashboard was a solution to that problem. This dashboard uses power query to pull data from the different estimators' sheets, and create the visualizations. With this, the owner always has an easy to understand and use report that stays consistent across all jobs.

The Result

The result created the communication the owner desired but allowed the estimator to continue using his sheet without changing any part of the estimator’s process. The perfect solution.
