• Accidents primarily occur on dry surfaces and single carriageways.

• Fridays see the highest number of accidents, closely followed by Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

• This year, total casualties stand at 196k, showing a 11.9% decrease from last year. Similarly, total accidents are down by 11.7%, totaling 144k.

• Fatal casualties this year amount to 1,549, with 19k serious casualties and 124k slight casualties.

These insights underscore the importance of road safety initiatives and the need for continued efforts to reduce accidents and casualties.
