World Cotton Production

In honour of World Cotton Day, which falls on October 7th, I'm thrilled to introduce hashtag#OneChartDashboards to my portfolio.

World Cotton Day (WCD) is an occasion dedicated to promoting cotton, sharing knowledge, and highlighting cotton-related activities and products.

Here are some interesting facts:

📌Currently, an estimated 25 million tons of cotton is being produced worldwide.

📌India, the second-largest cotton producer globally, is often regarded as the birthplace of cotton.

📌Benin stands as the largest cotton producer in West Africa.

📌Nigeria's remarkable achievement in 2021 includes a record $24.46 million in cotton exports, as reported by the United Nations COMTRADE database on international trade.
