HR Survey Analysis - Excel Guided Project

The survey response data came from ~1,500 city employees in Washington state. There were 10 questions concerning job satisfaction, opinions about the organization and supervisors, as well as relationships with coworkers. The analysis of 14,725 records yielded insight into areas where leadership may seek improvement.

The project required profiling and cleaning data to ensure the quality and accuracy of the results, reformatting data to build the right visualization, and charting the results in Excel.

Based on the findings of the survey, the employees seem to be overall satisfied with their jobs. They know what is expected of them and they feel cared for by their supervisors. However, there may be an opportunity to provide more socializing events so that employees can grow their friendships with coworkers. That could also help the workers feel more appreciated for their commitment as there seems to be a need for more frequent praise or recognition for doing good work.
