Situation: Maven Supplies needed an executive-level business intelligence (BI) solution to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data from various sources.
Task: I'm designing and building a BI dashboard.
Action: I connected and transformed raw data from Excel files and designed interactive reports and dashboards to complete the task.
Result: I created an executive KPI dashboard containing dynamic filtering options, high-level trending metrics, sales and goal performance, geospatial distribution, and trending month over month.

From the dashboard, we can answer the five questions quickly:
Which region has the highest sales, and which region did not achieve the sales goal?
West region had the highest sales of $396K, $86K higher than goal Two regions that did not achieve the sales goal are East and South regions
Which city has the highest sales?
Los Angeles, California had the highest sales of $146,269
How many units were sold?
6,000 quantity of units sold
Among the categories, which category brings the highest sales?
Furniture brings the highest sales
What is the trend of purchasing?
The highest sales were in September 2018, followed by March 2018 and December 2017.
