Objective of Dashboard: Is to explore the dynamics of Telagana’s growth through data.

Data we have got from following website: https://data.telangana.gov.in/.

We dived deep into the datasets to uncover insights and hidden pattern.

Telangana Government detailed Growth Analysis (Data for the period April 19 – Mar 23)

Analysing E-Stamps Registration and document Registration dataset for the period April 21 – March 23

1. The dataset received consist of two columns for Number of documents received for registration and e-stamp challans.

Revenue generated from Documents registration and e challans are in separate columns.

  1. The revenue generated from document registration significantly varies across districts. We have visualized first five districts on basis of document registered Revenue and document registered count. The first district has revenue form document registration of INR 71 bn whereas the fifth district 4.8 bn.

  2. The revenue from e stamps for first five districts is nearly the same as revenue form documents registration as we can see the respective figures in visual.

  3. Fron the visual we can notice that since the implementation of e-stamp challan the document registered count and e stamp count is nearly similar.

  4. Categorization of districts into three parts by revenue. District with e stamps Revenue above 10 billion is 1st Category(incorrectly said in video as 1 billion). Districts with e stamp Revenue between 0.99 billion and 10 billion is 2nd Category. All other districts are in third Category.

Transport – Unit Sales of Vehicles

  1. The dataset received and analysed consist of two categories:

Unit Sales of vehicles with fuel type Diesel, Electric, Petrol and others.

Unit Sales by Vehicle class Motor cycle, Motor Car, Auto Rikshaw, Agriculture and others.

  1. The Vehicle with fuel type petrol has correlation of sales with particular months with October 2019, 2020, 2021 showing the highest sales during the particular Financial Year. Months April 2020 and May 2021 showing the lowest sales for the respective financial year. The second fuel type is diesel which has also same correlation as above but the changes are not as significant as Petrol. Driving Factors could be because of the prices of fuel which go up and down in International Market

  2. **Preferences of different vehicle class**: The first two vehicle class which has maximum number of unit sales for the F.Y. 2022-23 is Motor cycle and Motor Car and the three districts which has highest number of unit sales for vehicles class of Motor cycle and Motor Car are Rangareddy, Medchal Malkagiri and Hyderabad.

  3. **Dashboard numbers for unit Sales:** - Sales growth figures of vehicles by fuel type Petrol, Diesel and Electric shows that Electric vehicles unit sales growth has being more than one thousand percent for first three district and more than 100% in last three districts in terms of revenue for the financial year 2021-22 and for financial year 2022-23 electric vehicles have grown more than 200% for first three districts and more than 10% in case of last three districts in terms of revenue. There is a negative growth also for the same financial year for the last three districts with fuel type petrol and diesel.

Sector and District wise investment in Telangana State

  1. We have noted the top 5 sectors for the period April 22 – March 23 and top 3 districts which has most significant investment for the period April 19 – March 23.

  2. We have noted the sector which has the highest investment for the period April 2021 – March 2023 and then analysed the different districts which contributed to the growth of that particular sector. (In Video period is incorrectly displayed as April 2020 – March 23 instead of April 2021 – March 23.

  3. We have ranked the districts with highest Units Sales of Petrol, Diesel and Electric as well as e stamps revenue and Investment in various districts for the Financial Year 2021-22 & 22-23. Conclusion we have drawn is that the four districts Rangareddy, Medchal Malkagiri, Sangareddy and Hyderabad had the highest Vehicle Sales, E Stamp Revenue and Investments, except for Hyderabad which shows one of the lowest Investments.
