Total Number of Shark attacks is 1413

The Number of fatal cases were 239

The Number of Non fatal cases were 1174

The Number of Male Victime were 1220

The Number of Female Victims were 194

Australia had the highest Number of fatal cases of shark bites

The most common body parts to be affected by shark bites is the human leg

The white shark is the most dangerous shark as it attacked more persons than other species of sharks.

There are a total 31 shark species from this dataset

A total of 60 countries were affected by shark bites from this dataset.
