HOPEFUL HORIZON - FORECAST DEPRESSIVE TEXT

The "Hopeful Horizon" Power BI dashboard was created to address student mental health issues by analyzing social media data. It collected Facebook comments/messages and used Power Query to transform the data.

1. The dashboard features interactive elements such as drill-downs, slicers, and filters, allowing users to explore specific criteria. The data model includes text, age, category, and anticipated text.
2. It forecasts the volume of text related to sadness and anxiety and offers gender and age-based filtering options.
3. Research findings suggest that teenage students are more likely to experience depression, especially male students.
4. Word clouds are effective in predicting depressive student writing. Overall, the dashboard provides valuable insights into mental health trends and can aid in identifying students who may require assistance.
