Codebasics Challenge : Telangana State Tourism Analysis

Task -

As a data analyst, my work is to find the patterns in the given data, and to provide recommendations to the Telangana government which can be used to increase their revenue by 2025.

Tools Used -

Excel- For forecast and revenue prediction

Power BI- for rest of the process.

My Walkthrough -

data overview : There was total of 8 datasets, 4 four domestic and foreign visitors each.

data modeling : used append and merge to create a 1 single table.

data structuring : Created a date table and Measures, CAGR, Forecast table using Excel for Revenue prediction.

data visualization : used mostly bar, column and line charts, cards, matrix and a map.

My Experience -

It was a good experience and learning, learned more about data modelling, forecasting, CAGR, tourism etc.
