📌 THE CHALLENGE As part of Women's History Month in the United States, your company is writing a piece on parental leave policies across the business world and they need you to create an impactful visual using the data you collected.
As the company’s BI specialist my role would be to provide charts, visuals, and infographics for stakeholders and Executive team. The purpose of this project is to allow them to quickly understand the company's policy.

📌 THE REPORT The following Power BI features were used to summarize the findings:

📌DATA PREPARATION Data cleaning was done in Power BI’s Power Query Editor.
Data types were corrected where necessary & calculated columns and measures were created for various required KPIs.
📌KEY FINDINGS
Out of 1601 Companies around 97% are providing paid leaves to mother i.e only 53 co. are not providing paid leaves while comparing to paternity leaves only16% co. are providing leaves to father which means 1344 companies are not providing paid leaves.
Around 58% companies are providing leaves of 3 months to mother while only 7% companies provide paid leave to father.
82% companies have not provided any information of leaves.
📌 FEW RECOMMENDATIONS
There is a need of revision in leave policy for father are mostly co. are not providing which result in performance degradation.
Companies need to change in policy to retain the employees for long term.
No Leave policy show discrimination between male and female employees between companies
It's a violation of government guidelines as ILO mandate the leave policy for both father and mother to take care newborn.
