📌 THE CHALLENGE
Northwind Traders, a global import and export company that specializes in supplying high-quality gourmet food products to restaurants, cafes, and specialty food retailers around the world.
As the company’s BI specialist my role would be to provide a KPI Dashboard for stakeholders and Executive team. The purpose of this project is to allow them to quickly understand the company's performance in key areas, including:

📌DATA PREPARATION Data cleaning was done in Power BI’s Power Query Editor.
Data types were corrected where necessary & calculated columns and measures were created for various required KPIs.
📌KEY FINDINGS
Total orders placed are 830 with having total sales and Gross Sales of $1.35M and $1.29M respectively. The country providing highest Revenue is Unites States with $.26 M followed by Germany with$.24M and lowest revenue from Poland and Norway.
The product category which is most ordered is beverages with $.28M Followed by dairy products and the company who are most successful are ‘Quick Stop’ and ‘Save a lot’ as they sold maximum product.
The Revenue Generated maximum in the year 2014 i.e $.65M for 25k Quantity, followed by 2015 and 2014 with $.4 and $.2M respectively.
The Top Products generated highest Revenue are Côte de Blaye, Thüringer Rostbratwurst followed by Raclette Courdavault.
Most Revenue Generated in the month of January, February and April while least Revenue generated in the month of June.
📌 FEW RECOMMENDATIONS TO IMPROVE SALES
Main focus would be to retain high customers ordered high Value Products and also to retain the employees helping in selling most orders. As such, it would be help to increase efforts toward retaining these top customers to continue doing business with the company.
More Focus should be given to countries in generating more Revenue like USA and Germany in accordance with it need to give extra effort to increase sales in countries having least orders like Poland and Norway.
In order to increase sales in countries having least Revenue discount can be given on the products to increase the sales and also fast delivery can be provide to the customers of these countries.
We can also make maximum use of united package shipping as they have record of fast delivery and also fruitful discussion can be done with other shipping companies to make fastest delivery with minimal cost.
