About this project

Business Problem:

You work as a Data Visualization Specialist for Maven Hotel Group (MHG), a Portuguese hotel chain with resorts in Lisbon and Algarve. One of your colleagues has identified some interesting insights but needs your help bringing the data to life.

Business Objective:

• Required a dashboard that can be presented to the leadership team.
• The colleague has come up with insights and recommendations and all he has is a workbook having a bunch of pivot tables.
• The colleague fears that their presentation will fall flat and so wants help with designing a dashboard to communicate the insights clearly.

Approach:

1. Defined the purpose of the dashboard
2. Visualized each insight effectively
3. Used colours consistently & deliberately
4. Leveraged dashboard layout & text to clearly communicate key insights and business recommendations
