This is ​ a project on COVID - 19 globally from 2020 to 2023 as at March 27th , 2023 to find the total case , total deaths, ​sum ​of New death , sum of​cases , sum of New cases by year , new cases by region, total cases across the globe and with recommendations

Sum Of New Cases by year : There is a progressive increase in New cases from the 2020 when the virus was detected and a peak in 2022 when people have lost guards to protection by the use of mask. And declined totally till date in 2023.

New Cases by Region

EURO region has the highest of new cases of 274,391,717 and the least AFRO region of new cases 9,509,869

Sum of New Death by Year

There was and increase in death during the heat of the virus in 2020 and peak in 2021 before the Vaccines were produced and declined totally till date 2023

New Death by Country( Top 5 )

USA recorded the highest new death of 1,114,970 and the least Mexico with 333,327

New Death by Region:

AMRO region has the greatest new death of 2,939,388 and the least AFRO with new death 175,315.

Total Cases Across All Countries

USA had the highest cases across the countries.

Recommendations:

1. More and more people should be encouraged to take the Vaccine to reduce the spread of the virus.

2. The populace should be enlightened about the myth of taking the vaccines

3. The countries still with high new cases of COVID-19 should continue to practice good hygiene and adhere to COVID -19 restrictions.

4. Masks should be used when an individual is unwell at all times to reduce the spread of the virus.
