This project aims to analyze the gradual developments in female welfare in India by examining two important components: gender ratio and female literacy. The project is based on data from the Indian census of 2001 and 2011, and the analysis is conducted by dividing the data into states.
To perform the analysis, I used a spreadsheet to clean and fix any data inconsistencies and applied filtering techniques to obtain the relevant data. The cleaned data was then visualized using Tableau, which proved to be an effective tool to showcase the data and highlight the trends in female welfare across different Indian states.
By analyzing the data, this project aims to provide insights into the progress of female welfare in India and identify any significant changes over time. The results of this analysis can be useful for policymakers and other stakeholders who are interested in promoting gender equality and improving female welfare in India.
