This is a maven careers "Excel Guru” a non-profit organization helping high school seniors find career Paths.

They perform an annual round of school visits and present data from various industries across the US, but have received feedback that the presentation should be more interactive to drive up student engagement.

They need a dashboard for an upcoming round of school visits. They give me the labor statistics data from 2017 to 2020, just in time for our next round of high school visits. They want a dashboard that seniors can use to explore wage and employment trends and compare them across industries.

The goal was to create a dashboard to help seniors answer these questions:

1. Which industries have the highest annual wages?
2. How large is the employment pool by industry relative to the whole market?
3. Are there any yearly trends worth noting?
4. Which states present the best opportunities for each industry?
