Sales Performance Dashboard

About this project

This project analyzes the company's sales and profitability performance across different buyer types, products, and discount rates. The analysis also provides actionable insights on pricing strategies, product promotions, and marketing efforts to increase sales and profitability for different buyer types and product categories.

According to the project brief, the first page should focus on the Executive Overview of the Company's Sales Performance. Other than the usual metrics shown in Sales Dashboards, the project explores its discount rates (discount bands) to help the company identify areas of improvement and make informed decisions to optimize its sales and profitability.

Upon checking the dataset, it appears that multiple transactions resulted in negative profits (nonprofitable transactions). Thus, it is crucial to establish transaction types and how these discount bands perform throughout the year.

The second page focuses on product performance analysis. This page explores the gross sales and net profits across different buyer types and products. A slicer filter for different countries was made available to further look into a country's performance.
