About this project

--Objectives-- Using probability distribution based on the weight data to answer questions :

What is the probability of a baby weighing under 2,5 Kg ? Estimate the baby weight of bottom & top 1% How many babies falls under the bottom & top 1 %? --Data-- Comprises of 189 records, 1 numerical field (weight-grams).

--Methodology-- I. Find out whether the sample data follow the normal distributions. a. compare between the mean & median b. check the skewness c. apply the empirical rules II. Apply statistics excel formula to get: a. probability of babies weighing under 2.5 kg . b. calculate the bottom & top 1% babies weight. c. count the occurrence of weight falls under bottom & top 1% categories.
