Can an equally impressive corporate dashboard be built within 3-4 hours which normally takes 3-4 or even more days!
This was the question on my mind since last week and luckily I got exposed to this amazing challenge by 365 Data Science, now why I say this is because you can get real experience with real ed-tech industry datasets that actually Give your experience working with Power BI some upper edge (especially a fresher like me).
Now looking at this dashboard, you won't find anything amazingly new with the design or even with the analysis, but I gave myself only 3.5 hours for this, I think it turned out okay. Now the main reasons for doing this were:
To challenge myself
Improve my skills to present effectively within time constraints.
To enhance my analytical thinking.
Sometimes less time gives you less options to choose from and helps you prioritize effectively what the end user really needs.
Concluding with the personal speedrun challenge, I wouldn't say it's best practice when building reports or dashboards, but definitely worth a shot!
Ok now coming to the real Challenge,
The task in this challenge was to analyze the work database that shows student engagement with the 365 platform, and identify key areas for improvement.
For this challenge I decided to divide the dashboard into 3 key areas :
Students Engagement
Content Performance
Exam analysis
