This project aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of crime in the United States from 1960 to 2019. By using data from the Unified Crime Reporting Statistics and collaboration of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, we will explore the trends and patterns in both property and violent crime across the country. By understanding the historical and geographical variations in crime rates, we hope to gain a better understanding of the factors that drive crime in the United States and inform policy-making and crime prevention efforts.
