Project Objective:
In this project I explored AtliQ Hardware - Customer, Product and Market Performance data of around 800,000 records across 3 fiscal years from 2019 to 2021 using Microsoft Excel.
- Leveraged ETL methodologies to streamline data cleaning and transformation of 6 CSV dataset files using Power Query.
- Configured Data Model connecting 5 dimension tables to the 2 fact tables using Star schema.
- Created DAX Measures for crucial Finance Metrics like Net Sales, COGS, Gross Margin and Gross Margin % for a comprehensive financial analysis across fiscal quarters.
- Crafted 11 Sales and Financial Performance Reports for strategic decision making using Pivot Tables.
- Generated insights about Key Sales driving Customers, Market Sales vs Projected Target Performance, Top Selling - Top Surging & Top New 2021 Products, Profit & Loss Reports over Fiscal Years / Months / Markets and Gross Margin % trends over Fiscal Quarters.
