Key Insights:

1.  The revenue & expense pattern for three business lines namely, Sportswear, sports equipment & nutritional & food supplements suggest that:
   

a.) The nutritional & food supplement line is more expensive and generated a loss with Revenue $1.8 million & Expense $2.6 million in 2023 whereas other two are profitable entities.

b.) A major part of the budget is allocated to labor which is around $4.5 Million.

c.) As analyzed from cost tree, the sales are least for Nutritional & food supplement business line

d.) To conclude, strategies should be made to increase the sales of the Nutritional & food supplement and produce more revenue.

2.  The monthly & quarterly distribution of revenue & expense for various business lines shows that:
   

a.) January had the highest Revenue of $1.94M and was 73.88% higher than September, which had the lowest Revenue of $1.12M.  Sum of Revenue and total Sum of Expense are positively correlated with each other.  January accounted for 11.10% of Sum of Revenue. The expense was higher in May & June around $1.72M.

b.) Based on quarterly analysis, it can be analysed that for each quarter, revenue generated by Nutritional & food supplements was lower and it incurred more expense. The other two businesses were profitable throughout the year.

c.) The first quarter from Jan to march was more profitable than rest of the year. It can be due to the renewal of Gym membership at the new year.

d.) To conclude, the strategies should be made to promote the products during mid-year so that sales can be increased by rest of the year.
