The hunt to find top performer candies starts in a following manner:

  1. The top performers were calculated based on win percentage.

Analysis Method:

Data Cleaning:

The data cleaning was a much easy part as the dataset contained only one table with all clean data.

Data Modelling:

The star schema data model is used to generate the analysis and produce the related graphs. The fact and dimension tables are created in RStudio and then linked with Power BI to create a star schema.

There were some assumptions made and data was categorised based on certain levels.

Price & Sugar level:

a. Low (0-0.33)

b. Medium (0.34-0.66)

c. High (0.67-1.00)

Ingredients:

a. Chocolate

b. Fruity

c. Nougat

d. Caramel

e. Peanutyalmondy = Nutty

f. Crisped Rice wafer

Visualizations:

The visuals used in Power BI are majorly bar graphs & Pie chart. The box plot is created by incorporating R visual within Power BI.

Some of the Insights are mentioned below:

  1. Out of total 85 candies, max candies were fruity & chocolaty (38 & 37 respectively).

  2. Classifying further, 64 were bar type and 21 were non-bar. Out of which, bar type candies were on high win percentage as they are easy to reach and share with everyone.

So these candies are considered and analysed to perfect purchase to share with every tricker & treat them this Halloween
