First is a map showing per capita CO2 emissions in 2021.
Second is a line chart showing CO2 emissions as a percentage of world total from 1750 to 2021. We can see that China overtook the United States as the world leader as percentage of total CO2 emissions.
Last is CO2 emissions per capita versus population. Qatar is an outlier of CO2 emissions per capita with a very low population. China is an outlier based on its population and its CO2 emissions per capita.
