UK Railway

On this challenge I focused on the volume of the passengers.

The data did require some cleaning, especially in Data Types and separating the dates from the times which is a best practice in Power BI.

The semantic model took a bit of thinking to ideate how the data would flow and found it a good exercise.

My initial approach was going to be based on a comparison of the Country population with railway transportation; to accomplish this task, I converted the Data Types to Geography in Excel but a quick comparison of the population per city resulted in outdated data, therefore I aborted the idea.

I also looked for some custom visuals and didn't find what I was looking for, so I reused an idea.
