US Private Companies Performance Dashboard - Tableau Project

This is a Tableau Fundamentals course assessment project for the Business Intelligence & Data Analyst (BIDA) Professional Certification Program by Corporate Finance Insitute (CFI), Canada.

The purpose of this dashboard is to analyze the performance of US Private Companies.

Below are a few insights generated from the analysis of 5000 US Private Companies:

• Pacific Union Real Estate under the Real Estate sector has the overall highest revenue of $5.5Bn with a profit ratio of 17%.

• Prime Therapeutics under the Health sector has the highest profit ratio of 41% with total revenue of $2.5Bn.

• California State has the highest number of companies which comes to a total of 694. This makes up 14% of all US Private Companies. Real Estate is the best-performing sector in California with an average revenue of $2.8M per worker, and an average profit of $500K per worker.

• EnvisionRxOption under the Health sector is the overall least profitable company with a profit ratio of -15% (15% loss), and total revenue of $3.6Bn.

• The Energy sector has the highest average revenue of $900K per worker, and an average profit of $119K per worker. Eco-Energy Global Biofuels under the Energy sector has the highest revenue of $4.1Bn with a profit ratio of 6%.
