About Data
This project endeavors to map the landscape of workforce characteristics and compensation trends, shedding light on the factors that influence these elements. By scrutinizing a rich HR dataset encompassing employee demographics, job titles, departments, annual salaries, and bonuses, the initiative seeks to furnish a nuanced understanding of employee distribution, compensation disparities, and retention patterns across various sectors within the organization.

Age above 60 years has the lowest number of employees (89) and lowest Exits (2).
Line Chart
This shows the growth of employees in the company. There has been a steady increase in hiring Employees from 1992 to 2022.
Employee Detail Page (Observations)
This page is used to show a little bit more about an Individual employee.
Questions Asked:
· If the Employee has Exited the Company, what date did he/she Exit?
· What was his/her Age when first hired and when Exited (if exited)?
· How many years has he/she been in the Company?
and so many more on the page.
Note
If the Current Age shows 0 it means the employee is still in the Company.
For the Exit date that shows blank, it means the Employee is still in the Company.
Also on the page, there is a button that takes you to the Employees that have reached the Retirement age and are still in the Company.
This page is to help the owners of the company to have a clear list of the employees that should be let go.
Retirement Page
The formula used to calculate the retirement Pension for each Employee
I used a common formula that I searched on Google which is indicated below:
Years in service X 12 months X final annual salary / (Service Years * 12)
The Approximate Expected Monthly salary will vary according to the years served in the company and the Monthly salary of the employee.
An employee can be filtered in the Table to see how much Pension he/she is entitled to.
There is an overall card to show how much the company is to pay all employees who are to be terminated because they have reached the Retirement Age.
Over the Years Page
This page is just to evaluate how the company has distributed salaries to its employees over the years.
A filter can be chosen such as 30 years to see how salary is distributed to those who have worked in the company for over 30 years.
This is just a guide to show how much the company has used to pay employees since it began operations in 1992 to 2022.
Thoughts
If the company is looking to hire new employees, there will be over 20K vacancies available after those employees who are above 65 years old are let go.
The company also has an Approximation of the Pension that the employees are to be paid once they are let go to ensure that they have a good retirement period after years of hard work.
Can be able to filter Employees who have never received a bonus and have been in the Company for over 5 years to receive a bonus.
There may be Ghost employees because, from the Retirement page, there are employees who are still working in the company and are over 80 years old. This is not possible meaning there is mismanagement of resources.
Note The age used is as of the last date in the data. That is what would be the age of the employee as of 2022.
Assumption The age in the data was when the employee was being hired.
From the dashboard, it is clear that the position influences whether or not one will get a bonus.
For example, Managers from all Departments except Engineering received a bonus. The bonus amount varied from department to department. Managers from IT, Marketing, and Human Resources received bonuses above 12K. The same managers from the HR & IT departments and were in the Corporate business unit received bonuses above 12K together with the Marketing Manager from the Manufacturing Business unit.
We also get to see the age of the employees to check whether it influences whether one gets a bonus or not and the amount of bonus.
This shows that bonuses were only given to Top positions such as:
Computer system Manager
Director
Engineering Manager
Manager
Senior Manager
Vice President
On top of that the Superior the rank the higher the amount of bonus one would get.
There are no bonuses or Rewards for people who have worked in the company for over 10 to 30 Yrs.
This should help the Founders realize that there are areas that may show biases and should be eliminated also there are areas that should be improved.
