Important Insights:

1.) There were a total of 630 survey takers, out of which 468 were male and 162 were female and their average age was close to 30 years

2.) Top 3 job titles in terms of average salary per annum: Data Science ($94,000), Data Engineer ($65,000) and Data Architect ($64,000).

3.) Favorite programming language among data analysts - Python (255) and R (61).

4.) Surprisingly, the overall happiness score in salary earned by data professionals is 4.27/10, which is low and this shows that they are not satisfied with the pay they are receiving.

5.) Most of the data professionals have a bachelor's degree, which is 329, followed by Masters’ degree (192) and then diploma (52).

6.) Technology, Finance and Healthcare are the most popular industries data professionals are currently working at.
