About this project

Overview

This dashboard is an overall sales analysis of McDonalds in the South Asian region for the year 2023.

The following KPIs are the focus areas for the stakeholders where sales can be improved for the year 2024:

  • Actual Sales
  • Actual Profit
  • No. of Customers
  • Sales Trends b/w 2022 and 2023
  • Customer Satisfaction - in terms of Speed, Quality, Hygiene, Service and Availability

Important Insights:

  • When it comes to customer satisfaction, customers are impressed with availability of stores across the region (95%), followed by hygiene maintained in the restaurants (93%) and quality of food delivered to the customers.
  • In 2022 alone, the month of May recorded highest total sales (206.4M) whereas in 2023, December was the highest month for total sales recorded.
  • Actual total sales was $1,844M, which is 61% of the target sales ($3,000M). There is a scope for improving the sales figure in the upcoming year 2024. But we are seeing a good actual profit percentage (89%) as compared to target profit percentage.
  • The market share that McDonalds has acquired in the fast-food chain industry is 75% when it comes to customer loyalty.
