Airbnb Tableau Guided Project with Alex

The data that I created included:

-Visual map allows us to see which zip codes make the most money with a correlating bar chart from highest to lowest. 98119 zip code is likely the fanciest area while 98125 is less sought after.

-Bar chart reflecting the average price per # of bedrooms. Data suggests the more bedrooms overall the more money.

-Line chart reflects the weeks throughout the year that make the most money. The slower part of the season includes Jan-Feb while things start to pick up/ people start to travel more in March onward.

Recommendations: If were looking to make the most amount of money and down payments on the initial home are not a concern – recommendation would be to buy a 6 bedroom home within the 98119 zip code and primarily rent it out during the spring, summer and winter.

There are more unanswered questions that would be helpful to explore before committing to that decision, but this is a good foundation of information.
