Mexican Toy Store Analysis for Business Expantion
About this project
Problem Analysis:
In this project, I'm collaborating with Maven Toys Mexico's management and utilising Power bi to offer insights on:
Top 10 stores perforing based on revenue
Revenue and Profit analysis on the data set from 2022 to 2023
Total orders per location analysis
Product category vise analysis , which will be helpful to identify the best selling product categories

Data Profiling:
Provided data set thoroughly analysed using excel and then imported to Power Bi for better data profiling
connected to the source data files, conducted basic profiling and QA tasks, and familiarized myself with the tables and fields i will be working with.
created a relational data model by defining relationships between fact and dimension tables, created simple hierarchies, and adjusted model properties.
enhanced the data model and prepared for analysis by defining new measures and calculated fields.
visualized the data and created an interactive report to show orders, revenue and profit over time and by product category
Insights:
Sales Analysis:-
Maximum profit giving location is Downtown about 56%, and minimum giving by Airport about 9%
Total revenue in the period of 2022 to 2023 in the given data set is $14444572
Total Profit in the above period is $ 4014029
After analyzing the data recommending focusing on the location downtown more, and also use some branding to improve in locations like airport. Toys are most selling category so stocking up toys is better than others.
In airport area more items are sold in category of toys and arts and craft, so concentarte in it . We have only three stores in airport region it might be the reason for less revenue from that location.
