This project focuses on leveraging the power of Excel to streamline the sales analysis process, with a strong emphasis on data cleaning, pivot tables, and interactive dashboards.
Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: The dataset underwent thorough cleaning and preprocessing within Excel to ensure data quality and consistency. This involved removing duplicates, finding and replacing values, and using IF functions to categorize data and add new columns.
Pivot Tables and Charts: Utilizing Excel's pivot tables and charting features, the data was summarized and aggregated based on different variables such as sales data, customer age, and customer demographics. This allowed for easier analysis and visualization of the data.
Excel Dashboard: The project culminated in a visual dashboard created entirely within Excel. This interactive dashboard provided an overview of the sales data and allowed users to explore key metrics and trends.
Excel's functions, formulas, and features were utilized to manipulate and analyze the data effectively, enabling valuable insights to be gained from the bike sales dataset. The project showcased how Excel can be a powerful tool for data cleaning, preprocessing, visualization, and dashboard creation, all within a familiar interface.
