AI can generate a polished, confident-sounding analysis in seconds, but polished isn't the same as sound. A strong recommendation can rest on a shaky premise, a cherry-picked stat, or a correlation mistaken for cause, and you're the one who has to stand behind whatever you act on. Most AI training covers prompting and productivity, but rarely teaches you to pressure-test the reasoning that comes back.
In this session, you'll cross-examine a real AI's business analysis live, exposing the shaky premises and cherry-picked stats hiding beneath a confident recommendation using the Socratic method. You'll leave with a repeatable checklist for interrogating any AI analysis before you act on it.
What you'll learn
Identify the six logical fallacies AI reproduces most often in business analysis
Knowing the patterns ahead of time makes it faster to spot where a fallacy is weakening a conclusion
Cross-examine AI-generated output using the Socratic method
This is how you surface shaky premises, missing evidence, and faulty logic before they reach a stakeholder.
Triangulate AI-generated claims against real data
Checking claims against the underlying numbers is how you separate genuine signal from confident-sounding noise.
Rewrite a weak prompt into one that produces decision-ready analysis
You'll leave with a prompt that holds up under scrutiny, not just one that sounds confident.
Who should join this workshop?
Data and business analysts who want to defend their recommendations with rigor and catch AI errors before they reach a stakeholder
Managers and decision-makers who rely on AI-generated analysis and need to judge whether it's sound enough to act on
Professionals adopting AI at work who can prompt confidently but aren't sure how to pressure-test what it gives back
Team leads and educators who want a repeatable framework for teaching their people to think critically alongside AI
Prerequisites

Access to an AI chat tool (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to follow along and try the prompts yourself
