About this project
The goals about the project are to analyze the emissions flowing in since 2015 from various sources as well as determine the plan of action to make the emissions carbon free by 2030, with a thorough analysis.
Revenue also has been calculated to know about the net sales per year as well as the environmental impact of the same.
Suggestions given to reduce Scope 3 and Scope 2 emissions respectively are:
For reducing Manufacturing emissions, focus on using renewable energy for production.
For reducing Product Transportation emissions, focus on setting-up Apple factories in United States instead of China.
For reducing Product Use emissions, focus on using sustainable practices to charge batteries as well as manage e-waste properly.
For reducing Electricity emissions, consider using power-saving devices as well as use electricity when it is required.
For reducing Steam, Heating and Cooling emissions, focus on using hybrid mode of products which support both steam as well as electricity/fuel.
