Hello everyone,

I am currently working on an exciting data analysis project at one of the major supermarkets as an expert data analyst. In this project, I have been provided with a dataset by a colleague to create a dashboard and analyze transactions at the supermarket. The main objective of this project is to present in-depth insights into sales, products, and other related factors.

Dataset:

The dataset contains various columns with information such as invoice identification number, supermarket branch, customer type, product type, product price, purchase quantity, tax, total price, purchase date, purchase time, payment method, and more.

Main Tasks:

I have been tasked with creating an interactive dashboard using Power BI and generating significant insights from this dataset. In the presentation to the executive team next week, we will focus on two separate dashboard pages:

First Page - Product Analysis:

On the first page, I will create a dashboard that focuses on product types. The goal is to see which products contribute the most to sales and which products are the best-sellers. Additionally, I will display the daily performance of each product. This information will provide a deep understanding of product sales.

Second Page - Price Unit vs. Gross Income Correlation:

On the second page, I will perform an analysis of the correlation between the unit price of products and gross income from the dataset. During this analysis, I will include additional relevant information to provide a better understanding of the factors affecting gross income.

Conclusion:

This project is a significant opportunity to provide valuable insights to our executive team. I will use the Power BI tool to create an interactive and informative dashboard. The hope is that this project will help us make better business decisions based on data and improve the performance of the supermarket.
