Maven Taxis

This project was part of the Maven Challenge series. This report features trip records from all green taxis in NYC in from 2017 to 2020. Records include fields capturing pick-up and drop-off dates/times, pick-up and drop-off locations, trip distances, itemized fares, rate types, payment types, and driver-reported passenger counts.

There's a few things I want to call out about this report that you may not notice offhand.

First off, the Week Ending slicer in the top left. The goal was to build a report for each fiscal week. I wanted to provide an easier way to select the date instead of a static week number. This makes it easier for the user to know the time frame the data shows.

Second, this dashboard contains more than can be seen from just this screenshot. Be sure to check out the addition photos to see the customized tooltips I built for an added bonus!

Side note: The data set for this report was quite large and I wasn't able to upload it to my personal Power BI Service workspace.
