▶️Job Demands on the Rise: Job postings in the data science field have shown a consistent increase, with a few exceptions in 2020 likely attributed to the impact of COVID-19. Overall, the demand for data science roles has surged, growing 3x from January 2017 to December 2021.
▶️ High Demand Roles: Among all data science roles, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, and Data Scientist positions are in exceptionally high demand.
▶️ Industry Demand: The computer software industry shows the greatest need for data science roles, followed by the information Technology & Services sector.
▶️ Competitive Salaries: Entry-level positions in the data science field offer competitive starting salaries, with an average starting salary of $81,000.
▶️ Mid-Senior Level Dominance: Mid-Senior level positions emerge as the most sought-after and applied-for roles in the data science job market.
▶️ Varied Experience Requirements: Experience requirements vary by industry across all positions.
