HCAHPS PATIENT SURVEY
About this project
- In this I am the data analyst working for American Hospital Association and as part of my role is to provide insights and create report for the HCAHPS Patient Survey that took place over 9 Years of time from 2014-2022.
- In this project my task is to evaluate whether the HCAHPS survey has been successful i accomplishing the goal by answering following questing:
- Have hospital's HCAHPS scores improved over the past 9 years?
- Are there ant specific areas where hospitals have made more progress than others?
- Are there any major areas of opportunity remaining?
- What recommendations can you make to hospitals to help them further improve the patient experience?
- Approach:
- To analyze the parameters like top-box, bottom-box percentages and response rate on state and national Level.
- To analyze Average response rate and with the total surveys over the years .
- To analyze Top10 state wise response rate and total completed surveys.
- To analyze how measures are performing over the years and what factors might lead them to behave in such way.
- An finally giving some insights to improve the response rate, completed submissions and improvements in certain areas.
