The Grand Tour de France is about to begin! All about the competition

I will present here my solution for the Maven - Tour de France Challenge, it's carried out by @Maven Analytics, where the proposal was to develop an infographic-style dashboard, highlighting the size of the event, informing new spectators and creating expectations to the next edition.

My visual proposal was based on how the event works, which consists of several stages until its conclusion, so I splited the information by stages and connected them so that it looked like an event route, placing Paris sights to try to refer to the path taken by the athletes.

I started with a brief presentation about the event, explaining what it is about, and in the next stages I brought historical information, such as the amount of participants and the distance amount traveled adding up all the events, I also prepared a ranking bringing the nationalities of the most victorious athletes and a France map highlighting the regions where the most stages took place. It concludes in the last “stage” with an image of the Arch of Triumph, showing the percentage of competitors who managed to complete the race in an infographic.
