US Military Casualties

This was a personal project to summarize and bring attention to military deaths not only overseas but back home. An ongoing issue for military members is the return home and their own personal battles fitting back into society.

1. There is a strong correlation between war casualties dropping and self-inflicted casualties rising

2. The deadliest years post 2000 were 2005-2007

3. After 2008 we have more self inflicted military casualties than actual war time casualties

4. While self inflicted casualties have remained a steady problem for military members, 2008 to current date has had a steep increase.
