Sales dashboard using excel with VBA

The objective of this project was to create a comprehensive Excel dashboard that utilized advanced features to transform raw data into visually appealing and interactive visualizations. The dashboard incorporated VBA programming, slicers, animation, measures, and different chart types to provide users with valuable insights for informed decision-making.

VBA programming played a crucial role in enhancing the functionality of the dashboard. Custom VBA code was implemented to automate tasks, manipulate data, and create custom interactions, making the dashboard more efficient and user-friendly.

Slicers were integrated into the dashboard to provide a user-friendly way to filter and analyze data. Users could easily slice and dice the data based on different criteria, allowing for dynamic exploration of the underlying information. This feature enabled users to interactively explore the data and uncover valuable insights.

Animation effects were strategically applied to enhance the visual experience and engage users. By emphasizing important data points or conveying changes over time, the animation effects made the dashboard more visually appealing and captivating.

Measures, such as sum of revenue, average, and other relevant metrics, were dynamically calculated and displayed in the dashboard. These measures provided key performance indicators (KPIs) and summarized the data, enabling users to gain real-time insights into the analyzed information.

The dashboard utilized various chart types, including bar charts, line graphs, pie charts, and scatter plots, to present the data in a clear and concise manner. Careful selection of chart types ensured that the insights to be conveyed were effectively communicated. The interactive nature of the charts allowed users to drill down into specific details for deeper analysis.

Additional filtering options were incorporated into the dashboard, allowing users to refine their analysis further. The filter functionalities dynamically updated the data based on user-selected criteria, enabling users to personalize their views and gain more focused insights.
