I built the dashboard with goal to find some insights like,
- How many orders were placed?
- How much was the sales/ Net Revenue?
- How much was the discount?
- To find Country & Citywise sales
- To find yeawise sales
- What were the products & categories?
- Which country has max orders?
- What products were discontinued?
- Who are the customers?
- Which are max and min ordering companies?
- Who are the shipper companies & how much orders were delivered through them?
With above questions I drawn following insights,
- Sales :
- Total 830 orders were placed which led to sales/ net revenue of $1.2658M
- 19th January 2014 was the day when peak sales was observed
- USA was country with max sales
- Company should focus on Argentina to which less sales was observed
- Products :
- Mostly beverages were ordered (around 404 order i.e. 18.75 %)
- Cote de Blaye was mostly sold product
- Company should focus on , "Produce" category to increase its sales
- Customers :
- Around 91 customers are using company's products out of which ," Save-a-lot-Market" had 31 orders, Centro comerical Moctezuma had only 1 order.
- Majoirty of orders were placed by Owners, Sales Representatives of the customer companies.
- Shippers :
- United package delivered most of the orders i.e. 326 (39.28%)
- All the shippers companies have around average freight of 78.24
- On average 20 days before required date order is shipped
