The Northwind Challenge
The challenge focus, is on the following criterium:
1. Sales Trend
In terms of sales analysis, in order to determine a consistent sales trend, i incorporated the Monthly moving annual DAX. Also the sales trend by countries was incorporated by the usage of a heatmap, in order to identify which countries have the most consistent sales growth trends.
2. Product Performance
An analysis was done in respective of the top categories and product sales from Northwind. To add on, a Bookmark was also added in order to identify in a table the sales, profit and profit margins of the products.
3. Key Customer
The report, also focus on the top sales by customer identified by company names, and also the top countires and cities with the highest purchases of products were identified. Furthermore, the top employees were identified by the number of attendance, orders and product sales.
4. Shipping Costs
An analysis of the average shipping costs per month was done, and the probability of late product delivery by the shipping companies, for the purpose of identifying the most cost efficient shippingCompany.
