Sales Report Using Power BI

The goal of the project was to find the main business KPI's and to answers the business questions like What is the sales in different regions ? Which product is making more money ? How much discount we can offer (this problem was solved using "What-If Analysis" in Power BI where we can observe the impact of different discount % on total sales in real time) ? etc.

A flat file data was provided having 16 columns about the Product Sales. Power Query ETL , Data Modelling and DAX in Power BI was used for the Project.

For better performance the flat file was converted into a star schema model using database concepts , the data was then Cleaned and Shaped in the power query, relationships were build in data modeling portion, and DAX was used for calculations and functions and end results were used for visualizing the results.
