How to Optimize Profits

The business needs were to determine the average profit by state. As the data shows Montana was the only state with negative profits. South Dakota had the highest profits. The bar chart depicts the profit by age group. 90+ had negative profits.

The heat map helps determine which quarter has the least and most amount of sales.

Some of the questions I wanted to answer are:

What are the average sales?

What are the average profits?

How do profits change by region and by quarter?

Who is contributing to the profit?

As you can see by the heat map in yellow some of the regions had bad quarters and it is important to investigate why. Using this type of visual helps see it.

Using the map helps show which countries are performing the best and the worst.
