Maven Parental Leaves Challenge

The Data Set uses crowdsourced parental leave data from 1,601 companies across different industries, including paid/unpaid maternity and paternity leave weeks.

Key Findings were:

American Income Life has the longest paid maternity leave (52 weeks)

Grant Thorton provides the most parental leaves (51 weeks). They are the only company having equal paid paternity and maternity leaves.

Average paid maternity leave is 8 times longer than average paid paternity leave

Only LAC-Group has longer paid paternity leave than paid maternity leave

97% companies provide paid maternity leaves while only 16% have paid parental leaves.
