Music & Mental Health Analysis

Situation: Being a music enthusiast, I had the spontaneous idea to find out what individuals prefer to listen to at work. While some people used it as a diversion, others sought it out as a remedy for mental health problems. In order to determine whether these two factors are directly or indirectly related to one another, I have used a dataset from Kaggle that includes people's music and mental health statuses.

Task: To create a single-page report which helps the viewer to observe if there is any relation between the music, types of music listening, work, and stress level of the people.

Action:

Segmented a report into the following three divisions to group the related data together.

Age & Music Preferences: Top Music Listeners, Most Streaming Devices, Most fav. genre and the nature of each generation in exploring music.

Work & Music Preferences: % of music listeners during work, their preferable genres, their preferred language, and duration of them listening to music during work.

Health & Music: Different generations of people and the effect of music on their health conditions (i.e.) either improving or worsening more.

Result:

Generated a single-page report with three segments to let the user find the relation between Music, Work, Age, Mental Health
