The Color of Data Science

The goal of our project was to raise awareness about disparities in BIPOC populations in the data science industry and to highlight any discrepancies in yearly income, as well as explore potential relationships with education and years of experience in the field. We used a Kaggle dataset on data scientists and demographics and the U.S. census dataset on income and race. One highlight of our project is the interactive map tool where the users can explore the data for themselves.
